ESI announces Food Security System Development Program
ESI Food Security System Development services include workplace security, incoming ingredient assessment, and Standard Operating Procedures necessary to protect from intentional adulteration. ESI announces Food Security Audit Component
Food Manufacturers and Processors are keenly aware of the need for emergency preparedness in all segments of the food distribution chain. ESI auditors will begin assessing conformance with basic Food Security Practices in May of 2005.
ESI performs audits of Work Habits and Processing Techniques in food manufacturing and processing facilities for compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), Good Distribution Practices (GDPs), and Good Retail Practices (GRPs)). The addition of a Food Security module enhances ESI's audit program and provides audit clients with the additional assurance necessary to establish supply chain integrity.
ESI announces Certified HACCP Auditor Credentials
January, 2004. ESI auditors are American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified HACCP Auditors (CHA). ESI is the first professional auditing firm to require its auditors to demonstrate proficiency as Audit Professionals and HACCP and Process Safety expertise.
The Certified HACCP Auditor credential is issued to individuals who successfully complete the rigorous American Society for Quality examination. Auditors with the CHA credential assure ESI Audit Clients the audit report will be fair, objective and consistent. Certified HACCP Auditors are bound by a code of ethics and trained to apply audit methodology uniformly for accurate and useful results.
ESI Announces Web-Based Food Protection Exam Preparation Training with PAS Protection
ESI will begin offering web-based Food Protection Exam Preparation Training in January 2005. ESI's web-based Training Achievement Program (TAP) is provided by TAP/Chimera Systems, a recognized provider of electronic learning options.
